Hon. Glenn Beall

(1927-2006)

Glenn Beall was a U.S. senator and insurance executive. In the Senate, he supported cancer research and sponsored the Physician Manpower Shortage Act, which put more doctors in rural areas. He was also vice chairman of the 1981 White House Conference on Aging and chairman of the executive council of the Maryland Hospital Association.
