Mr. Paul. L. Berry, Jr.

Paul L. Berry is a renowned journalist, TV anchorman, and star of his own radio show. In 1982, the National Television Academy awarded him the Ted Yeates Award, and former Washington Mayor Marion Barry honored him by declaring November 12 th "Paul Berry Day in the District." Berry was selected as "Washingtonian of the Year" in 1991 and recipient of the Capitol Regional Emmy for Outstanding News Anchor in 1993. He has given back to the community by funding a scholarship to help low-income students attend private schools. In addition, he is a board member of the National Rehab Hospital, Neediest Kids, Inc., and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
