Mr. Millard Fuller

Millard Fuller is the founding president of Habitat for Humanity, a worldwide Christian housing ministry. He worked as a lawyer and entrepreneur after completing law school at the University of Alabama. In 1965, he launched a housing project for low-income African families. The success of the venture led him to found Habitat for Humanity, which has provided over 175,000 homes. He left Habitat in 2005 to create the Fuller Center for Housing, where he continues to serve the poor. He is the recipient of many awards and among the inaugural honorees of the Extra Mile Points of Light Volunteer Pathway.
