Hon. Jack Kemp

Kemp has had success in three careers - professional football, politics, and business. From 1993-2004, he was co-director of the public policy organization Empower America. Before that, he served four years as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. He came to this Cabinet appointment after 18 years representing New York in Congress and 13 years as a star quarterback. Today he is a nationally syndicated columnist and advocate for revitalizing inner cities by establishing Enterprise Zones. He currently serves as vice-president for NFL Charities, acts as chair for Habitat for Humanity's "More than Houses" campaign, and is on the board of Goodworks International.
