Hon. John Kasich

John Kasich is a former congressman dedicated to elevating the highest standards of accountability. Elected to the U.S. House of Representatives at age 26, he represented Ohio's 12th district for 18 years. As chairman of the House Budget Committee, he oversaw the overhaul of the welfare system. Since returning to private life, he's become an investment banker on Wall Street and member of corporate boards of companies in the manufacturing and health care sectors. He also guest lectures at several universities and hosts the political opinion show "The Heartland with John Kasich" on Fox News Channel. His 1999 book Courage is Contagious became a New York Times bestseller.
