Hon. John C. Culver

Culver is an attorney living in Washington, DC. He represented Iowa in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. In 1980, he was the subject of Senator, a book by journalist Elizabeth Drew about the role of a U.S. senator. After leaving the Senate, he was a visiting professor at the University of Massachusetts and a fellow at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government. He is co-author of the widely heralded American Dreamer: The Life and Times of Henry Wallace and board chairman of Very Special Arts, which creates cultural and artistic opportunities for the disabled. |
