Honorable Hal Daub
Hal Daub has a breadth of experience in many areas critical to the future of health care. Since receiving his J.D. from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, he has served four terms in Congress and was mayor of Omaha from 1995 to 2001. He also served as an advisory member of the U.S. Conference of Mayors between 1999 and 2001. In 2002, President Bush appointed him to a four-year term as chairman of the independent, bipartisan Social Security Advisory Board. In 2004, the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living selected him as their new president and CEO.
