Hon. Alan Simpson

Simpson represented the people of Wyoming for 18 years in the U.S. Senate. During his time in Congress, he was chairman of the Veterans Affairs Committee and a member of the Special Committee on Aging. He was also assigned to the Finance Committee where he served as a member of the Subcommittee on Medicare, Long-Term Care and Health Insurance. After retiring from Congress, he served two years as director of the Institute of Politics at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government. He currently practices law, works as a consultant, and belongs to numerous nonprofit and corporate boards.
